On February 2nd, the Andin Foundation was a guest at st. Bonifatiuscollege in Utrecht for an interactive storytelling session with 4th-year students in the HAVO track. Oumar Barry conducted an interactive lesson about his childhood in Guinea and how the place of your birth influences who you become as a person. He then shared information about the connection we have with a high school in Kaffrine, Senegal.
The best way to experience culture is by directly engaging with it. Both the students from Kaffrine and the students from Boni are very interested in the lives of 'the other.' Therefore, they are in the process of preparing for a digital exchange, where they will share vlogs about their own lives with each other.
We are very curious about the end result, and we are looking forward to the collaboration between these two schools!
